Just going to answer it all in one go, seeing as how I was completely unable to finish the last one. -.-
If you could live anywhere in the world where would you live?
Such a difficult question! I love the big city, but enjoy smaller town life. And I’ve also yet to see the rest of the world!! Going off of some of my favorite cities, I would have to say Seoul, Tokyo, or Austin. As for the places I’ve never been to, Hawaii, Greece, or Switzerland sound really nice.
What is your favorite type of cuisine?
Filipino, Mexican, Korean, Mediterranean, Indian, Italian…and the list goes on and on…
If you could speak another language, what would it be?
I’ve been wanting to learn Portuguese and Arabic recently (probably because of work lol). But I would love to have a simple conversation in Russian, Mandarin, Japanese, and French someday.
If you were given a year to travel the world where would you go?
I would probably start off in Mexico, make my way down to South America to visit Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, and Chile. Then go over to Europe to see France, Italy, the UK, the Netherlands, Belgium, Portugal, Switzerland, Germany, Spain, and Greece. And hop over to Turkey for a bit, and maybe Sweden and Finland. Then I would visit the UAE (for old time’s sake) and make my way to Africa: Mozambique, Angola, Morocco and Egypt to be exact. After that, would be Asia! India, Nepal, and Goa are definitely on my list for South Asia. Further east, I would go through Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, and Singapore. Then I would visit China (including Hong Kong), Tibet, Mongolia, Taiwan, Japan, and Korea (hmm…maybe North Korea too?). And then finally finish in Australia.
Okay. I’ve probably left some out, soooo…it’ll probably take more than a year.
If you could speak every known language, how would you use your ability?
I’d probably be a voice actor. hahaha
What countries did your ancestors come from/what is your nationality?
I’m mostly Filipino (Boholano on my father’s side), but I have a bit of Chinese Hokkien and Spanish ancestry on both sides (my last name is Catalan).
Do you have a favorite artist from a country other than your own?
Soooo many. (KPop anyone? ㅋㅋㅋ)
Some of my faves: Lea Salonga, Tiziano Ferro, Ofra Hazar and Carla Bruni.
These dinnerwares designed by Kristine Bjaadal take your basic white tableware into something entirely different and imaginative. The underside of the plates have a colorful coating; you won’t even notice the undercoating unless if these plates were set on a white tablecloth for the colors to bounce off of.
I don’t know if this tableware collection will ever hit stores. In the meantime, I want to go to a pottery shop and make a ton of white plates with crazy neon undercoating.
